somethingclassic: This film is flawless! The cast is perfect (Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt, Kristin Scott Thomas, Tom Mison), the screenplay is hilarious, the scenery is gorgeous, the score is fantastic (Dario Marianelli), and the director (Lasse Hallstrom) happens to be one of my all-time favorites. I apologize for being vague, but honestly, I think it’s better if you don’t know too much before you watch it. Seriously, if it is playing anywhere near you, go see this film!
